Reinhold has taught himself to paint by drawing first. He was born in Alice Springs but both his mother and father were from Ntaria (Hermannsburg). His fathers dreaming and his own are Mt Hermannsburg. He loves to paint and draw his father’s country.

He is married with children. He used to be an ace AFL football player, but now copes with the consequences of brain injury from an accident.

He paints beautiful landscapes with great technique and unusual and interesting management of colour.

His grandparents (Pareroultja’s) taught him when he was a school child using pencils. His wife is Cathy (Jennifer) Wirri and is the mother of his two daughters, so Kevin Wirri, the watercolour artists is his father in law. Ivy Pareroultja is little mother for him. He paints at home as he doesn’t like sitting down with the ‘old’ ladies.
