“My Name is Veronica Perrule and I am Eastern Arrente woman from Alice Springs. The traditional country that I come from is Ltyentye Apurte (Known as Santa Teresa). When I was a young child my family worked on cattle stations to the east of Alice Springs. Both my parents and grandparents worked for the station owners and we lived near the homestead while my family was working. When they weren’t working we went back out bush and camped.

All of the knowledge given to me I would dearly love to pass down to younger people who want to learn about it and learn how to respect country”
